These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the OUTFIE mobile application ("the app," "we," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using OUTFIE, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Service Description

OUTFIE is an AI-powered fashion rating application for iOS. The app uses artificial intelligence to analyze outfit photos and provide style ratings, vibe labels, category breakdowns, and styling tips. OUTFIE also offers an outfit comparison feature that helps users choose between two outfits.

2. Account & Device

OUTFIE does not require account registration. Your device is identified by an anonymous UUID (universally unique identifier) stored in your device's Keychain. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We are not liable for any unauthorized use resulting from compromised device security.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

All subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Pricing may vary by region and is determined by the App Store.
Free trial periods, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.

4. Free & PRO Tiers

Free tier: Limited number of outfit ratings per day. Basic analysis features available.
PRO tier: Unlimited ratings, full category analysis, outfit comparison feature, and additional benefits.
Feature availability may change. We reserve the right to modify free and PRO tier offerings.

5. AI-Generated Content

All ratings, scores, vibe labels, category assessments, and styling tips are generated by artificial intelligence. These represent AI-generated opinions and should not be taken as professional fashion advice. Results may vary based on photo quality, lighting, and other factors. The AI is designed to evaluate clothing and accessories only — it does not and will not comment on body shape, weight, or physical appearance.

Text-based AI results may be cached on our servers to improve performance. Your photos are not stored on our servers — they are processed in real-time and discarded. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload photos that are illegal, harmful, obscene, or violate the rights of others.
Upload photos of minors without parental consent.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or manipulate the AI system or app functionality.
Use the service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
Circumvent rate limits, subscription restrictions, or other usage controls.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the service.

7. Intellectual Property

The OUTFIE app, including its design, AI models, branding, and all associated content, is our intellectual property and is protected by applicable laws. Your uploaded photos remain your property. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your photos solely for the purpose of providing AI analysis. We do not claim ownership of your photos. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers.

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for:

AI-generated ratings, recommendations, or styling suggestions.
Any decisions made based on the app's output.
Service interruptions, errors, or data loss.
Third-party service outages (OpenAI, Apple, Firebase, Superwall, Mixpanel).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to OUTFIE at any time, without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

10. Data Deletion

You can delete individual outfit ratings from your history at any time within the app. To request deletion of all server-side data associated with your device, contact us at the email provided below. 11. Privacy

Your use of OUTFIE is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
